These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Daydream website and web application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by SANDALA LABS LLC ("Daydream," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

- What Daydream is: A web app run by Sandala Labs LLC that helps you find luxury hotel deals and plan flexible trips.
- No booking on our site: We don't sell rooms and don't handle reservations. When you click a result, we send you to the property's website to book there.
- Free vs paid access: Free users have limited features. Paid requires subscribing ($2.99/month or $29.99/year via Stripe).
- Refunds: Generally no refunds, except rare cases we approve at our discretion (or where required by law).
- Deal accuracy: Prices and availability can change fast. What you see may differ from the final price on the property site.
- Fair use: No scraping, bots, reverse engineering, or trying to bypass limits.
- Disputes: Arbitration through AAA/JAMS with class action waiver, plus 30-day opt-out option.
- Governing law: New Jersey law governs these Terms.
1. What Daydream Does
Daydream helps you discover hotel deals and plan flexible travel by searching and presenting rates and related information for luxury properties. The Service may allow searches by date, date + region, date + weather preferences, and flexible date ranges (such as finding deals over upcoming months), depending on availability and your plan.
No booking on Daydream. We do not sell travel, do not operate as a travel agency, and do not process bookings. When you select an offer, we redirect you to a third-party website (typically the property/hotel website) to complete any reservation.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.
3. Access: Free Use vs Subscription
Free Access (no account or account without subscription):
Some limited functionality may be available without an account. Free access may be restricted by features, filters, search volume, time horizons, locations, and other criteria, and may change over time.
Paid Subscription (account required):
To access paid features, you must sign in using either a Google Sign-In or a valid email account and maintain an active subscription. Paid access has higher limits than free access, but is not unlimited. We may apply reasonable rate limits and anti-abuse controls to protect the Service.
We may modify features and limits. We may add, remove, or change features and usage limits for free or paid access at any time, including to prevent abuse, comply with law, or improve the Service.
4. Accounts and Authentication
- Paid users must authenticate using Google Sign-In or a valid email account.
- You are responsible for maintaining control of your Google account and for all activity that occurs through your use of the Service.
- We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use violates these Terms or poses risk to the Service or others.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, Renewals, and Cancellation
Plans and Pricing (currently):
- Monthly: $2.99 per month
- Annual: $29.99 per year (discount vs monthly) (plus applicable taxes, if any)
- Billing is processed by our payment processor (i.e., Stripe).
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal or choose to disable auto-renew.
- Cancel anytime: You may cancel at any time. If you cancel, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your then-current billing period.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices. If a change applies to you, we will provide notice as required by law.
- Trials, promotions, or one-time purchases: We may offer these in the future. Any additional terms will be presented at the time of purchase.
6. Refund Policy
- No refunds: All fees are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.
- Exception (discretionary): In extreme circumstances, we may issue refunds at our discretion. Any such decision does not create an obligation to provide refunds in the future.
7. Hotel Rates, Currencies, "Deal" Labels, and Accuracy
Hotel pricing and availability change frequently, and information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
You understand and agree:
- Displayed prices may differ from what you see on the property site or on any other online travel agency (OTA), including due to taxes/fees, room rules, inventory changes, minimum stays, currency changes, timing, personalization on third-party sites, or other factors.
- The Service displays prices in USD using an approximate exchange rate available at the time we fetch data. Some underlying rate or conversion data may be up to 60 days old.
- The Service may display either base rate or all-in estimates depending on the specific result and what is shown in the UI; the linked hotel booking page is the source of truth for final price and terms.
- "Deal" labels (e.g., "steal," "great deal") or deal scores—if shown—are estimates based on factors like historical averages and/or typical rates for a brand and are not guarantees of value or availability.
8. Weather-Based Filters
If the Service includes weather-based searching or filtering, those outputs may be based on forecasts or historical patterns and are not guaranteed. You are responsible for verifying weather and travel conditions before booking.
9. Third-Party Websites and Services
- The Service links to and redirects you to third-party websites. Third parties may have their own terms, privacy policies, booking rules, cancellation policies, and customer service.
- We are not responsible for third-party services or for any losses arising from your interactions with them. Your dealings with third parties are between you and the third party.
10. Intellectual Property and Brand Notices
- The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding third-party trademarks and third-party content), is owned by the umbrella corporation Sandala Labs LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- Hotel names, brand names, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Daydream is not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands unless we explicitly state otherwise.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to, and not to assist others to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to access the Service or its data without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, algorithms, or underlying logic.
- Circumvent paywalls, feature gates, usage limits, or security controls.
- Interfere with the Service, including by overloading, spamming, or probing vulnerabilities.
- Reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or its results without our written consent.
We may monitor for abuse and may throttle, limit, suspend, or terminate access to protect the Service and other users.
12. Feedback
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without compensation or restriction.
13. Suspension and Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, used the Service abusively, or pose a security or operational risk.
- You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT PRICING/AVAILABILITY/WEATHER OUTPUTS OR "DEAL" LABELS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Sandala Labs LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $10 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sandala Labs LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
17. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver (U.S.)
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Agreement to arbitrate:
Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court or disputes solely seeking injunctive relief for unlawful use of intellectual property, you and Sandala Labs LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court.
No class actions:
You and Sandala Labs LLC agree that disputes will be brought only on an individual basis, and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Arbitration administrator and rules:
Arbitration will be administered by AAA/JAMS under its applicable consumer arbitration rules. The arbitrator will have authority to decide issues of arbitrability and the merits of the dispute.
Location and format:
Arbitration may be conducted by video, phone, or in-person in the county where you live or another location mutually agreed upon.
Opt-out right:
You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending an email to legal@sandalalabs.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and including your name and the email associated with your account (if any).
18. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. If the arbitration agreement in Section 17 is found not to apply to a dispute, you agree to exclusive venue in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
19. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, in the Service or by email). By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
