1. What We Do
Daydream helps users discover hotel deals and plan flexible travel by searching luxury-property rates and related travel information. The Service may show you results and then redirect you to a hotel/property website (or other third-party site) to complete a booking. We do not process bookings within Daydream.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
- Account information: If you create an account, we collect information you provide directly (such as your email address and any profile settings you choose to add).
- Sign in with Google: If you use "Sign in with Google," we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
- Preferences & inputs: Search inputs and preferences you provide (e.g., dates, regions, filters, weather preferences, favorites/saved items).
- Communications: If you contact us, we collect the information you send (e.g., email, message content, attachments).
B. Information We Collect Automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, time stamps, referring pages, clicks, and similar activity data.
- Cookies and similar technologies: See Section 6.
C. Subscription and Payment Information
Payments are processed by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers. We generally store limited information such as your subscription status, plan tier, and transaction identifiers needed to provide paid access and customer support.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Service (including running searches, showing results, and saving preferences).
- Create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
- Provide paid features and manage subscriptions.
- Communicate with you about your account, the Service, and support requests.
- Monitor and improve the Service, including analytics, debugging, and product development.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information as follows:
A. Service Providers
We share information with vendors that help us run the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support, payment processing). They are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.
B. Hotel Data and Content Providers
To return search results, we may transmit your search parameters (e.g., dates, destination/region selections, filters) to third-party providers that supply hotel rates/availability and related content. We do not share your payment card information with these providers.
C. Redirects to Third-Party Sites
When you click a deal, you will be redirected to a third-party website (such as a property/hotel website) to complete any booking. Those third parties may collect information from you directly and may receive certain data automatically (e.g., your IP address, device/browser information, and referral data). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
D. Advertising and Marketing Partners (if enabled)
If we enable advertising, retargeting pixels, or similar technologies, we may allow third parties to collect information through cookies and similar technologies for measurement, attribution, and advertising (as permitted by law and your choices). See Section 6.
E. Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers
We may share information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud/security issues, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
5. Free vs. Paid Access
Some features may be available without an account ("free version"). Additional features may require an account and/or subscription. This Privacy Policy applies to both.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, SDKs, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to:
- Keep the Service functional (e.g., session management),
- Remember preferences,
- Understand usage and improve performance,
- Measure marketing effectiveness, and (if enabled) support advertising/retargeting.
Your Choices
You can control cookies through browser settings and, if available, our in-product cookie controls. Where required by law, we will offer additional choices for certain types of cookies (e.g., advertising cookies).
7. Marketing Communications (Opt-in)
If we offer marketing emails (e.g., product updates or promotions), we will send them only if you opt in (where required). You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in those emails. Even if you opt out, we may still send non-marketing messages (e.g., receipts, security notices, and account-related emails).
8. Data Retention
We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and why we collected it.
9. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you,
- Correct inaccurate information,
- Delete certain information,
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information,
- Opt out of certain processing (such as targeted advertising where applicable).

Do Not Sell/Share (California and some other jurisdictions)
We do not sell personal information for money. If we engage in practices that are considered "selling" or "sharing" under certain laws (for example, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising), we will provide a method to opt out and update this Policy accordingly.
11. International Users
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date and, if required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Policy to the extent permitted by law.
